I think every one of you feel that just by suing you will get your things done. You should know that suing also involves costs. Before thinking in terms of approaching the Court, first write a letter to the Manager asking him to return the original property documents since the entire loan stands repaid. If he does not return the documents within a reasonable period, say 15 days from the date of receipt of your request, then make a complaint to his higher authorities. After waiting for one month, make a complaint to Ombudsman. Only if that too fails, then think in terms of approaching the Court. Adopt the principle of 'SAMA, BEDHA, DHANA, DHAND".

If the bank is Public Bank then filing Writ petition in the High Court would yield effective and efficacious remedy in no time.
