Dear Experts,

I have recently received my 498a summons from lower court.

Accused whole family members.

Is it the right time to go for Stay,
Are there any chances/counters to stop my stay by the other party.

If you got summons mean you have to be appeared before the concern court on that said date. After that you may take steps to quash the same..

If you got summons mean you have to be appeared before the concern court on that said date. After that you may take steps to quash the same.. Otherwise you will get non bailable warrant

If you have a strong grounds for quashing the case, you can get a interim stay.

Apply for stay order with application with solid grounds.

Stay can be granted if there is no prima facie case so as to send the chargesheet also. If you are sure that there is no prima facie case on record, then go for quashing and get stay.
