"X" is a absconding offender working with a news paper agency as a correspondent, in his absconding period X given many news through email to news paper editor "Y" and he published it. which criminal liability assumed by Y?

intention is matter, if Y knows that X is absconding offender then he is liable otherwise not.

If the publisher knows about the crime of the correspondent then the publisher may be also be implicated in the crime for giving shelter to him or not cooperating with the police in telling his whereabouts.
