Police verification in case of renting flat

mother in law wants to rent our her flat. For police verification physical appearance is must as told by police officer.

She is not able to appear before police due to her illness.

What is procedure to complete formalities.
Can authority letter will do in that regard ?

Police has to issue NOC

what is nature of her illness . produce medical report to that effect and request cops to viist residence of licensor .

if cops insist the licensor will have to visit police station as without police verification society wont give permission to give flat on leave and licence

Another way is give copy of special power of attorney i.e. for administration of property to police dept.

yes. u can request the police officer to visit ur place for verification and certification, because of security and safety reasons.
