Transfer of property from father-in - law

Team,

My father-in-law has purchased a land which is not NA plot and it is on lease of 999, from the individual who have purchased on lease from some one else in 1991 and the agreement done was sale deed and know he wants to transfer the half land on my name so please suggest the procedure as i am not able to understand what process should be done ( Sale Deed / Power of Atternity / sale agreement/ lease dee ) .

Please suggest as earliest as possible.

if it is agricultural land then you can buy it only if you are agriculturist.

your father in law can execute gift deed in your favour . howveer pleaswe note that if property is on lease generally consent of lessor is necessray
