Reversal from promoted post to previous post.

I was working as Foreman since 13/07/1995 in Coal India Limited a Govt. of India Undertaking. I have been promoted and joined as Welfare Officer Trainee on 11/02/2008 on the basis of a Company level written exam and interview. After joining I found the situation very adverse and applied for reversal back to previous post and place of posting on 07/12/2008, 20/12/2008, 24/06/2010 and 17/09/2012. But there is no any reply from company side till date. As per the para 2 of the promotion order if our performance not found satisfactory then we may be reverted back to previous post within three years of the joining in the promoted post.

You have the right to get reverted to your previous post. Instead of using the term reveral back, you should send a representationn to revert you back to your previous post.

Legal remeadies may not help you in your case. Better apprise your superior authorities your difficulty and get reverted to earliest post and place.

it is a departmental matter. you should approach your senior officers with a written request to revert you to the previous post giving your unwillingness to continue in the promoted post

You can have right to be revered only if there is probation on promotion to the present post. As long as you are on probation your lien is on the lower post.

In case deptt so feels they may not agree to reversion. Further take it that if you already have for ACP/MAPC in the lower post and decline promotion then you are liable to loose the ACP/MACP.

Further I have to add that as per the terms & conditions of the selection I have been selected & promoted as trainee grade E1 officer for two years and then have to be regularised in E2 grade with one year probation. But due to the lacking from company side our whole batch is regularised in E2 vide letter dated 01/08/2012 with retrospective effect i.e. I am regularised in E2 w.e.f. 11/02/2010.
