can aproperty (flat) be registered by taking a power of attorney from a saller.
We have taken a flat from a purchaser . But this purchaser being a habitual drunker fail to come at the registration office every time. Now we are thinking of making a sale deed along with the poa in our favour (buyer) to regsitered the flat in our name.
I have read somewhere that poa is not valid. But here we have no intention to skip the goernmnet revenue. Please advise with alternative solution also.

Yes if thge4 attorney is the close relative of the seller.
Try to get the sale deed executed by seller only.

yes he must be having brother /sister praparents . ask him to give regd power of attorney in their favour for seeling the property and for regsitartion purposes

Even that POA would be required to to be executed as registered one by the owner.Then
better to go for a sale deed by owner.
