Q)my father got self earned property of my grandfather through mutual settlement done betweem my grandmother and brothers of my father bcos my grandfather died without making any will. now prblm is that i am seprated from my wife and also have a son. my wife says that after my son will be 18 yrs old he will claim on that property.plz suggest me.

what is mutual settlement?

You wife is a fool. She does not know the law. She does not have to wait for her son (your son also) to wait for being 18 years old. She can claim immediately on his behalf.
