Suit pending for 25 years without any adjournments

Sir,
Can anybody pls suggest me that if there is any lis-pendency for more than 25 years without any adjournments and without any proceedings or progress in the suit, then whether that case can be reopened again by giving notice to the respondents.

Hope the reply ASAP, if it is not maintainable can anybody pls suggest me the relevant citation

Factually it is possible if a case has been adjourned sine-die and if the same is required to be re-opened, it can very well be got done and for citation, do some labour and search from www.indiankanoon.com
