Charges-can it be concise?

(Querist) 25 June 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts,

I have been fighting against ACB in a corruption case. The charges have now been filed.I am in the process of making my defense now.Since i am layman in criminal proceedings ,Kindly reply the following question.

1.The charges filed by CBI is not elaborate and details only in two sentences about my alleged role in the criminal conspiracy(commission and omission on my part). Is not it true that the prosecution has to detail each and every action of the accused in the charges section? or it can be concise?

Thanking you.

A charge need not contain every minute details of the alleged acts.

All other annexed material with the mentioning of your role is sufficient for the prosecution to move ahead.
