Civil appeal before district court

Respected Members,

I received notice of hearing of appeal under Order 41 Rule 14.

Original Special Civil Suit was filed by the present appellants for recovery of money from me. On merit, suit was dismissed with no costs. Aggrieved by the judgement present appellants filed this appeal. Appeal is before District Court Raigad, Maharashtra.

Would you please educate me about the procedure of hearing of Civil Appeals before District Court. What will happen on the first day of hearing. What I am supposed to do on that day?

Nothing, just file vakalatnama and get another date fixed for hearing of appeal.
Before coming of LCR the appeal would not be heard.
