change of name

sir,

as MY name was included in 10 th mark sheet as H.ramu in mark sheet and that it continued till my bcom was over.I had my eduction in hyderabad

but we are living in maharashtra state
where my name and identity is with full name.

how do i change my name where to apply and tell me the precribed procedure?

you will have to file suit for declaration in Hyderabad.

Firstly you have to correct your name in marksheet along with certificate of 10th class from the office of the conducting examination board whosoever is. Thereafter you made an affidavit before the 1st class magistrate that your original name has been subtituted wrongly and your correct name was like as your certificate in the 10th class.It will need advertisement in the national level newspaper or gazzett to proclaimed that your original name is like this.

civil court.

before instituting the suit you have to give notice to the secretary of the state, SSLC board, etc., you have to institute the suit for declaration as advised by my learned friend Rajeev, Affidavits wont help, as you are willing to rectify the mistake in the records of the education department, better consult a lawyer at your place. as per your query you have to institute the suit at Hyderbad(place of study)
