Relinquishment deed

A property in Karnataka is to be relinquished by one of the heirs.Can the relinquishment deed be registered in Delhi and sent across to karnantaka for execution.What is the registration applicable ?

The execution of a document can be made anywhere but its registration is to be made only before such office of the Registrar which has got jurisdiction over the subject matter of the deed.

You have to register the document only in Karnataka. Delhi Registration department will not and cannot regster it.
