my father was daid in 1981. till our room is on his name. I want to transfer the same room on my mothers name. can i charg for it; if yes how many.

After the death of your father along with you, your mother and other sons and daughters are entitle to claim their share in the house. You cannot alone transfer the house in your mother's name.

if the room by you or your father under pagadi or acquired.
if you occupied under pagadi, better you need not tranfer it to your mother. if you want transfer, you must receive pagadi amount from your mother or you pay the same to building owner behalf of your mother
