false statement made for divorce, husband accused of dowry harrasment.
do i need to make applicaition for 340 crpc on first court hearing or i can make it after that also.

let the matter be decided first, once the finding comes in your favour then proceed under S.340 Cr.P.C

the section also provides a special procedure so follow the same carefully.

you can not jump to 340 without folliwing certain procedure.

You can file the 340 cr.p.c petition at any stage of the proceedings. It is not necessary to wait till the disposal of the main case.
