RTI fee regarding court fee stamp

I HAVE APPLIED RTI (RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT,2005) APPLICATION TO SOUTHERN RAILWAY DEPARTMENT ALONG WITH COURT FEE OF 10 AFFIXED. THEY ARE REPLY TO ME RAILWAY AUTHORITY NOT ACCEPTED COURT FEE STAMP. WHETHER IT IS RIGHT OR WRONG AS PER RTI FEE AMENDMENT.

Court fee is not acceptable so department is right in its approach.

In tamilnadu, court fee stamp is acceptable to get information with in state govt's official. But am also had this same experience from general govt sectors. After that i came to know that general govt sectors not accepting the court fee stamps as application fee.

You can use postal orders instead of court fee. Its will be economy while compare with demand draft.

yes you can send the postal order of Rs 50 for the seeking the information.
