Corporate connection - daugher use

My Father in law gave mobile corporate connection in his name and official address to her daughter(My wife).

I am paying bill for her for last 3 years. Now, they have filed dowry case against me.

1. Should i give statement that how can i ask money from my father in law instead I am paying his bill for last 3 years.

2. Can this be a case of misuse of official resources/funds.

3. Is this a offence in eyes of Mobile Services provider (BSNL etc.)

no . dont make any such statement . concentrate your energies on fighting dowry case
your father out of goodwill permitted his daughter to use his cell number . if bill is not exhorbitant the company wont be bothered .

if however your wife was misusing cell and running exhorbitant bills it would be a misuse of funds . . the service provider is concerned with payment of his bill not who among the family is using the cell number

I do not know whether Mr. Anonymous has engaged any lawyer or not for his case.
He is repeatedly posting some queries which border on trivialities rather than on any substantive issue. Probably he thinks that these things would matter a lot in defending his case.
As rightly advised by Mr. Sethi, the querist would be well advised to concentrate on how to meet the dowry case against him rather than these petty issues which do not carry any weight before the Court.

Yes but still you can bring this point to the court though its result to your advantage is doubtful.

EXPERTS ARE RIGHT.
May be you have a case of complaint against your father in law for his having mis used the facility provided to him but his this mischief can not create any solid defense to your dowry case,if you have simply personal whims do not look towards us for advise.
