Can we apply for declaration based on possession for empty land

If we are in possession of the land for the last 20 years and has no other owners/govt land, on what basis can we claim title for the land and what are the valid proofs of possession.

yes, you can take adverse possession , if you are in without disturbing from any one then ask to court declaration confimation, you must have proof of your possession land tax and patta, chitta,

You can go for adverse possession as stated but you have to prove your adverse possession for about 14 years undisputed or more.
