Independent director

(Querist) 25 February 2012 This query is : Resolved 
in case of the listed company filing reference to BIFR( Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction), in such eventuality what is the responsibility of the Independent Director and also whether he is disqualified for the director?

please advise
