what is the procedure to probate the will? what is the court fees to be paid for filing probation petition in High Court of Madras? What is meant by appointment of executor in the will? If for a Registered Will, after the death of the testator, whether Probation Petition or Letters of Administration Petition need to be filed? Kindly explain the difference between Probation and Letter of Administration? Thanks in advance.

in case executor is appointed in a will you would need probate . if no executor appointed then letters of adminstration .
executor makes application for probate of will of testator . court fees in Mumbai for probate is maximum rs 75,000 . for madras contact local lawyer .
