This query is : Resolved
Sir, I receive a legal notice regarding my pending mobile bill of a closed BSNL postpaid no;
The bill amount is ten time higher than the security deposited.
The bill came up within 45 days with one single bill with no other notification.
Am I legally liable to pay the amount?
Can I file a case in consumer court?
What if not reply to the legal notice.
Please advice … thank you.

1.Cannot say without reading papers.
2.Not at this stage.
3.You will have to reply notice and deny said
payment, otherwise u will admit the contents of notice and will be liable to pay said bill amount.

Sir
Your guidance is useful to me. And thanks a lot.
Sir, I have one more query _ is it mandatory to reply through advocate or a latter written personally denying the amount will work.
I am a student and your suggestion will be helpful to me. Thank you.

No, it is not mandatory . You can reply and deny the said bill amount.
