Illegal possession

r/sir,

i am owner in possession of certion agriculture Land, my neighbor also have land adjacent to my land. he always use to cut the boundaries of land and now he is encroach illegally about 14 feet of my land.I filed application before Naib Tehsildar for the demarcation of my land, N.T. had not done any thing. now can i file a civil suit, under which provisions of law.
kindly suggest me.

If you are in UP,a suit for possession would lie only in Revenue court.However if you are in possession ,suit for injunction shall lie in Civil court.
