Road accident

Hi,
I am vivek kumar. I met an accident on 14 sep2012. while i was going back to home by my bike from my class.at that time there was raining. a women suddenly run across the road. I push break of bike but bike skeed due to wet road. and lady hit by left side of bike.
the pcr police came on the spot and took driving license and they did not take me or lady in hospital. the local police filed the act 279/337 against me.I didnot run from spot.PCR police told me to go and take your treatment. I have witness but i don't have solid evidence against pcr police.

Second thing lady got some injury and took
treatment in hospital. i also got injury more than lady but i don't have MLC.
I don't have bike insurance.

fir is filed by police not lady side or not my side.

lady demanding 25000 rs. but her injury is normal , no fracture nothing some head injury.
I am a student and i don't have any idea about it.

so what should i do. i should pay the lady
or go with court.will it affect my career.

i am very confused. please help me and give me right advice.if you need any other detail . please mention. please reply soon. i am worried about it.please advice........

When FIR is filed on you, you have to face the trail or admit the guilty.
Lady can file petition claiming compensation against you. If no insurance then owner of the bike will be held liable to pay the copmesnatio.
So it is better to compromise and settle the matter with the lady for minimum amount. If the matter is settled then take it in writing from the lady

yes!better go for compromise on compensation issue as the court may ask you to cough out even more;co- operation of lady may go benificial even in criminal case also.
