Contradictory statements in two different aaffidavits of different cases

Respected experts,
my wife filed a DV case against me in december 2011.In my reply I had written that I m unemployed and i don't hav a job and I am residing at my home town, which is completely true till date.Just
after filing my reply for DV case,i filed custody case of my child(3 yr old girl). In my application I hav written that i m residing in a metro city and doing job there. actually my lawyer told me that even if i was unemployed at that time , i was searching for job, so i will get job soon and we can tell the court in that way.
now the lawyer of wife brought the affiadavit of the custody case and said that these statements are contradictory.I would like to know if this attracts a perjury case against me.I m still unemployed and still residing at my home town only, in fact I received the summons of intermim reviosn case at my hometown (my wife was denied interim maintainance by Hon court based on some solid documentary proofs against most of her alleagtions.In fact her case is full of lies only).
kindly give answer to my query and suggestions if any.

you have made false statement on oath . inorder to gain custody of child you have falsely stated that you are working .
on basis of contradiction in your affidavits court will deny you custody of the child . it is surprising that your lawyer filed such an affidavit which is a blatant lie .
file another affidavit clarifying the issue .

In the given case, you have definitely given a chance in the hands of your wife to file a complaint of perjury against you. It shall be better for you to stop saying yourself unemployed now and obtain any appointment letter from any private concern and show your income so that you may save yourself from perjury. You may take plea in that event that while filing earlier affidavit, you were jobless but when filed subsequent affidavit in custody case, you were in employment so no falsehoold has been made as alleged.
