Divorce

(Querist) 01 February 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Can any male take divorce from his wife on the basis that they never had any physical relationship ever since they got married?
Its been 5 years that the couple got married but they donot have any kind of physical relationship as it was forceful marriage. But the girl donot want to take divorce because of family reputation.

Is it possible for the boy to take divorce ?

Ans: YES, provided wife refuse to cohabit. , Otherwise not.
If you can prove forceful marriage,
go for MCD

apply for divorce . you have stated that wife wont agree to save family reputation . you can take the plea that wife is impotent and refuses to have sex . it amounts to mental cruelty

Non consummation of marital relationship is a god ground to seek divorce on the part of husband.
