A man filed a case against another man for recovery 10,000 rupees as compensation for doing some thing wrong. In his reply, the other man stated that he does want to contest the case. Will the man get 10,000 rupees as compensation?

If the defendant does not contest the suit, the court can pass decree on ex parte which can be executed by attachment of property.

We are not astrologers. Even if the defendant is proceeded with ex-parte then also court has to see whether the plaintiff has proved his case or not. Courts are not meant to provide what ever is demanded.
