sir iam planning to marry a gal of 24 years....iam 32 years...sir its love marriage...but totally gal is much intrested in marriage...wat steps should i follow to prevent from her father.....i mean harrashment in case of matter...next my friends telling they may put dowry harrashment case can any advocate how to overcome this issue after marriage...but gal is forcing to marry me in court...

when you are interest to marriage, you should register your marriage at register office with witness. thats all.

When you both are agree to marry, get it done as desired. There shall not be any case from the father of the girl if she is happy with you and the marriage is if not forceful.

I am not sure why before the marriage your friend is so doubtful about the life after marriage.
Ask them to settle first after marriage and then think of future.

Only wife can lodge 498a, so why worry??
O the contrary your wife can file DV against her father for forcing her to marry somebody else & torturing.
Once wife in ur fvr, Enjoy your married Life.
Let DV- Protection officers & PS do their job to protect u both against her father.
