respected seniors
i want to file an application U/s 156 (3) of Cr.P.C. and wants to register case against a teacher who has tampered with the answer sheet of a student and change the answers . In which sections my case can be registered . kindly help.

Police can definitely lodge FIR against such teacher but prior to that, it shall be good if the complaint is made to the chief examiner and a thorough enquiry is demanded thereto.

Depends upon the nature of complaint, whether tampered with the intention to cheat someone, to render undue favour to the student to raise his/her grade, to get some bribe, to intentionally and fraudulently fail the student, etc.
Just lodge an FIR, let the police find the relevant section for the nature of crime.

Being an advocate, do you still want to walk by holding fingers of others? Although you have not mentioned on what count you want to file application u/s 156(3), I have given examples of offences, can't you check relevant sections under which the offence falls depending upon the exact reason or reasons for tampering of the answer sheet?
