Respected Experts,
I have purchased 4 full bottle of alcohol liquor from Kerala along with bill and carried the same to my state (Tamilnadu) on the way the Tn police constable caught me and threatened me that carrying alcoholic liquors from other state is an offensive and
can be filled under transportation law
and I apologize to him but he had collected some money (more than the liquor cost)
Just now I want to know that the constable's statement was true? While in Kerala and Tamilnadu both governments are selling liquors through their owned retail shop kindly let me know where I must complaint against the constable? If he misused the law in this regard

You are asking this question after thought. Why had you not resisted the constable at the very same time?
There is no such restriction if the purchase is legal one as is in your case.
You an make complaint to SP of that area.

Thank you sir, I already mentioned that I was threatened on the road and I have not been willing to opposite the constable pl let me know sir, whether the constable misused the law to snatch money

each state has its own taxes on liquor . if you are caught smuggling in liquor from other state the liquor can be confiscated .there must be difference in taxes between kerala and TN . hence you bought liquor from other state . you have paid the money when you were caught by constable . obviously he would not have given you any receipt for the cash paid by you . forget it as bad experience and be more careful in future .

There is lot of difference between the smuggling an lawfully bringing an item after its valid purchase. There may be difference of taxation but the act and conduct on the part of constable is totally illegal.
