Owner of the property

(Querist) 12 July 2013 This query is : Resolved 
A is wife of B and A purchased the properties in the year of 1941 ans A died 1949, A and B had 4 daughters 1,2,3,4. B executed settlement deed infavour of Elder Daughter in the years of 1968. No. enjoyed the properties till now with changes of revenue record in her name. Now Daughter No. 2 claim the share from the Daughter No. 1, No. 1 refused the No. 2 claim. No. 1 enjoyed the properties from 1986 to till the date. No. 2 entitled any share in the No. 1 property? Tamilnadu

After the death of A, all his legal heirs i.e. his wife and four daughters (unless his mother was alive at that time) are entitled to inherit the property equally.

B is not the exclusive owner of the said property left behind by A.

Therefore, it is not understood as to in what capacity and authority B could have executed any settlement deed in the year 1968.

Unless one sees the contents of the Settlement Deed, it will be difficult to answer your query.
