mr A had a undeveloped plot of land and mr B had a plot of uncultivated virgin jhum land. so Mr A proposed Mr B to exchange the land. on the proposal of Mr A they changed their plot and an agreement was entered in written in plain paper and not registered, this exchange was witnessed by the son of mr A and kit n kins of Mr B, . after exchange mr B put his all earnings to develop the plot and constructed his house on it. Mr A also cut down the trees and carried out jhum cultivation on the land he got from Mr B. after eleven years Mr A got sick and died. Mr B was very busy so he could not visit the funeral of Mr A. suddenly after the death of Mr A the son of Mr A who was also the witness of the exchange, raised objection on their changing of land and demanded back to their plot given to mr B. Mr B developed the land and made it worth living and Mr A also carried out jhum cultivation on the jhum plot. now the question arises is that what are the legal remedies for Mr B. because his entire virgin forest was cut down by Mr A, he also put his life time earnings to develop the plot to make it worth living and constructed house. only for the reason that he did not visit the sick mr A and they were belong to different political parties the son of mr A is harassing old mr B. whereas he was himself the witness to his fathers proposal and exchange , please suggest.
