Need legal advice on estate agent fraud.

my grandfather have farmland near new mumbai panvel. that property belong to my grandfather. he want to sell that to the builder through estate agent.

everything was sounds fine till date of registration of of land. estate agent make wrong registration doccuments means the deal ammount that was done orally was not on the doccuments. it was much less than done orally. my grandfather unaware of it and signed on doccuments. i did not have any idea about this matter till date.my grandfather did not tell this matter to me. Registration done nearly seven months ago.
now estate agent is denying of of deal that orally done, and tell grandfather to go to court. pls help me to out of this situation.

Was the matter totally oral or any agreement was entered. It it was oral it is difficult to prove the oral understanding now. You may consult local advocate and show him all the documents.

420 i.p.c. Case is made out; file same against agent.

agreement was done atleast 7 months ago. my grandfather did not tell any thing to any family members because he worried of us.

Yes, agreement was entered. land situated in zone in which maharashtra gov planning for maha mumbai. so that land have great value. but estate agent falsely entered much less ammount in agreement. there is any possibility to launch case against estate agent and the builder.

The documents are all against your version, we afraid the proving of your version would be almost impossible in the court.

YES HE IS NOT SO LITERATE. PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED BY CHECK.

if payment was received by cheque and as per the terms mentioned in agreement and your grandfather has after reading agreement signed the same no case of cheating is made out

You can lodge complaint with the police. But in absence of adequate proofs, action may not be taken.
