Hi All,
I have one query, which was asked by my client. Will you please suggest me. Can we use indian prestigeous symbols for my client business. Eg: Tajmahal, Indian Gate, Charminar. Sir, if yes then with whom we need to take permission. If it is offense then please let me know.

Please note we have/had Charminar Cigarette; India Gate Basmati Rice; Taj Mahal Hotel; Taj Mahal Tea.

I agree with Anirudh. Is there any specific law to take permission or to register any logo, which represents indian hertigate. If not please suggest some case law. Actually some case has registered on tajmahal symbol if anybody is having that case law or citation. Please send it to me.

If Trademark agency approves your application to use such sign as Trademark then only you can use. But these signs are unlikely to be allowed anymore.
