Resolution passed in agm valid ?

THE M.C.TERM EXPIRED IN SEPT'2013 BUT IN AUG'13 IN AGM,THE MEMBERS HAS PASSED RESOLUTION TO COLLECT FUND FOR BLDG.REPAIR FROM SEPT'13 TO FEB'2014, ONLY EX-CHAIRMAN HAS OPPOSED THE RESOLUTION & IS NOT PAYING, HIS POINT IS AFTER MAR'13 NO RESOLUTION CAN BE PASSED UNTIL NEW COMMITTEE IS ELECTED. IS IT CORRECT. PLEASE LET ME KNOW

decision taken by AGM is valid . i presume issue was on agenda of AGM . .

Agree, the resolution passed by the AGM is valid provided it is within the preview and procedure.

New committee or not, AGM has full power to transact the business. AGM is suprreme, not the MC. Society cannot remain as defunct, if due to certain compelling circumstances fresh elections are not held. Anyone can be made to chair the AGM by approval of the majority of the members of AGM for holding the proceedings of the house to transact the business on agenda.

The resolution is very much valid, because the resolution was passed during their life term.
