Complaint about adulterated food against a general store

(Querist) 14 October 2014 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Madam,

There is a general store in my locality. Yesterday, I bought yellow rice from that shop and after coming back to home, while washing the rice, I found the light yellow color is coming out of rice and later after thorough washing, some of the rice becomes white.
I complaint this against the store, but of no use. He was saying, you have taken it from somewhere else and trying to replace it from here.
I don't want my refund now but Can I lodge a complaint against this to Department of Food Safety as anonymous, so that they can come and check if any adulteration is present in his store or not.

You can lodge complaint with the food adulteration department. Why you remain want to anonymous? Anonymous complaints generally avoided.

Dear Rajendra, This shop is in local market. I don't want to be in unnecessary harassment if the shopkeeper got to know about me complaining. Can I lodge online complaint at following URL:-

The Author Posted the Query initially decently as Sir/Madam but now the recent post is addressed as HI Rajendra. The author had not posted his personal details even. I Prefer to Treat him as Anonymous and Ignore. He had not even realised he is dealing with Professioal Advocates.

Dear Rajkumar, In my first post, I have started with Sir/Madam because I was not sure who will answer my question. Now, Mr. Rajender had asked me why I want to be anonymous thats why I replied to him only by addressing him.
What do you mean by this thing that if you call some one by Sir/Madam then the person is decent and otherwise he is not.

One more thing, I am here for seeking some advice because I know that on this portal there are professional advocates and I respect them.

I know that you should not hide anything from doctor or lawyer but that is when you are dealing one to one.

What the difference will it make to you if I will post my personal details. My details can be seen by public also and I don't want to make it public. I am not sure instead of resolving my query(if you want to), why are you taking this into some other direction.

If "Hi" offended you, I have modified my post as "Dear".Apologies, if this offended you

You have been deceived, not accommodated by changing the adulterated rice, not treated nicely, not assured to be careful in future, not gave the address of supplier who supplied it fraudulently in good faith to him, all these were done intentionally. The shopkeeper has indulged in the activities to endanger the life of others as the colour used has not been analysed / tested in the laboratory. Illegally used unapproved food colours may cause serious illness including cancer.

You should not spare such person and lodge complaint by name to result punishment if he is culprit.

shopkeeper is protected only if he sells packed goods. Not in this case.
