Should give a special POA to follow up the case with local officials and police. Should do Fencing around the land.

He can file writ petition in high court against police inaction.

There are land mafia goons prevail everywhere to grab the lands belonging to the people who reside away from their property for years by fabricating the land documents and dispose it off. The local police and sometimes the higher police officials are also in nexus with such culprits either by remaining silent spectators to the ongoing rimes or lend a deaf ear to the complaints made by the parties (sometimes indirectly indulge on threatening the parties to withdraw the complaints by settling away with paltry amounts). If the anti land grabbing cell of the police too remain deaf and dumb, a writ through the high court will only bring the desired relief/remedy to the issue.
