Wife is living with her parents sinec 45 days on some mutaul differences. Please guide if filing an application under section 9A will act as a procteion against any proceeding under section 498A .??

Why are you scared of 498A IPC? Have you done anything to her?
If no then try to bring her back then filing cases. Marriage does not survive on fear or strategy but on mutual effort and trust.

Think of making amends with your wife than filing case.
It is your life, not a drama. Do not go by any advice unless and until you meet your wife and have conversation with her in private.

Talk to her on phone, take help of some common friend/ relative for amicable solution. Once any case is filed in the court, the relation would spoil for ever and a chain of cases would start.

filing of petition for restitution of conjugal rights wont act as protection in case wife files 498A case .

You defend the case 498a if filed, basing on the merits. We cannot suggest you illegal way to prelude her to file the case if her case is genuine.

This cannot help you save yourself from the onslaught in the name of 498a if she intends to initiate against you. Better reconcile the mutual differences because it is after all mutual differences and not so much critical.
