Sale of vehicle in scrap

Respected sir, I have to sale my old scooter(1985 Model)and Maruti van(1991 Model)in scrape, Now in the wake of recent happenings, I have a fear that vehicle can be used in kidnapping/murder or in other criminal activities. what should I take in writing from the scrapewala and what will be the value of stamp paper. Since name transferring in RTO is tough as well as cstly. Thanks to all.

There is noo need to change the name. You have to obtain an affidavit from scrapwala on a stamp paer of Rs. 10/- that he shall use the aforesaid vehicle just for scrap purpose and shall not use them at all as vehicles and shall destroy them and you should send a copy of that affidavit with an application to the registration authority where those vehciles had been registered in your name and should keep intact that copy of letter and affidavit with you.
