My father wants to make a registered will in bangalore subregistrar office even if property is situated in different states -rajasthan ,UP etc what is the procedure for registering the will -can it be in hindi language or english -can me & my wife be witness as i am the only beneficiary for the will

author, your father may execute a will in Banglore though the properties are in other states and get it be registered in Bengaluru. it can be in the English language. it is advisable either yourself or your wife is not be a witness in the Will.

The author of Will can execute and register the Will at any place of his choice irrespective of the location of the property to be bequeathed by way of Will.
However to remove any dispute such Will should be executed and registered at his ordinary place of residence.

Legally he can register the will in Banglore even property is situated out of state.

Beneficiary should not be a witness in his own interest. By being a witness to the Will he renders himself open to the charge of having influenced the Testator.
