Respondent time limit - high court - article 226 of constitution

Sir,

As an petitioner, if i file writ petition In under article 226 of the constitution, How much time, that court will give respondent, to file counter from day of receiving notice and from date of filling of vakalath in the court.

As i would like to file WP against Municipal corporation for not taking action against construction of illegal building.

Please inform, for which am thankful to you.

Court cases take time in following the procedure. No limit can be assured.

No one predict the time limit of case hearing in courts
However within 6-8 months a writ petition is typically heard.
