dear experts,
my friend has filed divorce case against his wife foradultery affiars.his wife also accepred that they both are not staying together since 2 years.He is working as govt teacher.
He has planned to purchase some land onnloan tonstart his coachig instiitute.
the case for divorce n maintenance is running in family court.
now my querry is
1.can he purchase land on loan.
2.will his wife claim for equal participation on land if she knows this..thanks a lot
i am too much satisfied till date withbur advice.

I agree with experts.
The husband may purchase any property, it cannot be shared by wife in her maintenance.
However, it shall have affect on the grant of maintenance since it would add to his (husband's) assets, wherein liability created by him shall have hardly any bearing while deciding amount of maintenance, if she (wife) is eligible.

You have not replied my question so far.
However, in adultery case, as you said, case filed on the charge of adultery affairs and "his wife also accepted, the case deserves declaring the marriage null & void without any maintenance, what to say of claiming "for equal participation on land" of her husband.
