Hello All,
I was remanded 2years ago in the case of my sister's husband suicide. Later I was released under bail. Now it has been 2 years but I didnt receive any hearing from the court.
My question is
1.Will it be a problem for my Carrer or future? I am currently working in private sector.
2. Am I not supposed to work without knowing to my police station with whom the case is pending?

find out the status of the case from the concerned court.
mere grant of bail does not absolve you from the entire case.
you must have engaged some lawyer for putting up your defence, so seek help of the lawyer in this matter.

Thank you, Sir.
But when I enquired this in court surroundings, they have no idea regarding this and when I asked my lawyer, he is asking me to wait telling this is a civil law and will take long time.
Kindly let me know what are the other ways to find out the status.

Kindly check with your lawyer, how you were granted Bail in a Civil Dispute?
I dont think there were so exceptional circumstances that warrants were issued in Civil Proceedings.
You may seek help of some other lawyer, who can guide you better as per the facts of the case.

The case of suicide of your brother in law cannot be a civil matter rather that is a criminal case in which you had been bailed out and may that police had not filed challan as on day so better to wait till you receive notice from the police and meanwhile do concentrate upon your job.
