Hi

If a person is director in two or more pvt Ltd companies & is paying Professional Tax on individual capacity.

ple guide wheather companies are liable to pay the professional Tax or not.

Based on West Bengal Profession Tax Act.

Company is liable to pay Profession Tax of Rs. 2500 per year from the date of commencement of business.

Director is liable to pay profession tax on his gross annual income disclosed in last year income tax return.
