Membership of NSE

Hi
I want to know the procedure to take membership of NSE and the requirements to do so.I also get to hear that brokers can not trade on their own account??so can I not trade if I am a memeber of NSE?

First you have to be big shot to be member of NSE , trading etc or minor things.

Initial requirement of funds will be in crores not lacks.

Thank you for your prompt reply.yes I am aware of the money needed to do this.I want to know if I can trade on my own account and details of trading settlements like how it is done.I have heard that members trade for others not for themselves.so I want to know that.
