Succession Certificate

Is there a file number etc to track an application for succession certificate? Please let me know as I had applied 8 months back through a lawer but every time I ask for the status he just tells me a next hearing date...how can I check the status myself...PLEASE HELP..thank you.

If it is filed in the court you will get the number of the case in the court register. You can search for it in the court.

File an application for inspection of institution register in the court wherein you would get case no,if such application for geting succession certificate has been filed.
