Difference between Sale Deed and Transfer Deed

Please can anyone tell me the difference between a Sale Deed and a Transfer Deed. Please , Very Urgent.

with reference to maharashtra co op hsg soc act sale deed refers to the ownership of a flat and transfer deed refers to a transfer of a name in the records of the society from the vendor to the vendee ie the purchaser of the flat.

Sale is a kind of transfer so it doesnt mean by waht name you title the document but it all depends upon the subject matter of the deed as a whole.
see what transfer is taking effect in the deed.

But if you take it in view of Income tax then compare the ubject matter keeping in view the provisions of IT Act.
