rights in father's property

(Querist) 23 March 2011 This query is : Resolved 
My father is married with another woman after death of my mother,I have 4 sisters all of married and a brother from my step mother,I have a plot which is given to me from my father and regestry is by name,can my father dived this plot without my concern?and how much share from property I can take?he wants to dived property along with my plot in my step mother,my step brother and me,is it possible?or how much share I should be given from my fathers. Since the property is in your name, Only you have the power, authority and right to deal with it. This is the position even if you have not contributed a single paise to purchase the same. Nobody (including your father) can touch it.

Yes , once the property is transferred the original owner(father) can not do anything about this.

Your father have no right to do with your property

Once the property is legally transferred in your name, your father cannot revive that property in his name or to transfer to any one else. You would be the sole owner of that property.
