Only in the ancestral property, the daughters also have equal right as sons in the family. However, if the property in question (whether land, or residential house etc.) is self-acquired by your father, then nobody (including his son(s) or daughter(s)) has any right to claim any share in such a property. The father being the absolute owner of the property he has every right to do whatever that he likes to do with it. Nobody can question.
Therefore, you have to first indicate whether the property that you are talking about are ancestral property or your father's self acquired properties.

You have to show the copy of the property documents. Then only it is possible to say whether it is an ancestral property or personal (self-acquired) property. Only after knowing this, it is possible to say whether you can claim any share or not.
