Third floor construction query

Hi, i am a resident of second floor of a 2 floor building with roof rights in Kirti Nagar. Please suggest can i construct third floor on my roof and what are the formalities that I have to go through.

You have to go thru., the rules and regulations your city municipal corporation. If there is provision then you can construct it.

Your right to construct third floor has to be ascertained from the sale deed you have obtained from the owner of the building. It has to be seen whether you have been granted such right without any pre conditions. In the absence of the details it would not be possible to tender any guidance in the matter.

You can have the builtup area, corresponding to your UDS only. not more than that.

if it is not permited in the sale deed then it is prohibited!

Cross check it from Office as due to Delhi High Court Orders, construction is prohibited in some areas... Moti Nagar, Industrial Area -- Rama road.

Rama road is declared illegal and very soon DLF is about to purchase it.
