Well
I am 18 and I would like to marry a girl who is 18 too

I know the age for guys here in India is 21

But the Law Commission Of India Passed A report saying to lower down the age for marriage at 18 for both guys and girls

What was the response from Parliament??

You can not register the marriage till you become 21 but there is no illegality if you marry the girl after observing the usual Hindu rites and customs.

your status: religion will be criterion, for the same, if not Hindu then other Acts will come into action and the Parliament is going to take the decision in Monsoon session for the same.

To lower down the age of marriage for boys or something else??

And yes,girl is Hindu And I Am Jain or You Can Categorize Me Under Hindu Too..

So,Can Girl's Parents File A Case Against Me If Girl Wills To Stay With Me??
